I'm Home

Hello Family, Friends, and Loved Ones, It's me, Elder Lott and it's kinda weird to write my own blog right now, but as of last night I am home!!!

A twelve hour, non-stop plain ride is sooooooo long, and nobody should ever have to do that in their life haha, but I am grateful for everyone who worked so hard to bring us all home. It is good to be home and at least doing quarantine here with family.

It looks like I will be released as a full-time missionary, within the next couple of days and then will be reassigned, and re-set apart after the virus dies down a bit. I think the plan is that I will go back to Chile after it dies down a bit, and continue serving then. We're not sure when that will be, but we're excited for what's to come!

Interestingly enough, quarantine seems to be the same about anywhere in the world, and I hope you are all finding plenty to do, but if you have come up with any creative ideas, please feel free to share them with me!!!

I appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers, and faith in my behalf, and am grateful for each and every one of you. Know that I think and pray for you as well.

I also know that these times are causing a great bit of fear and anxiety about the future, and this scripture has brought me some extra piece now:

Isaiah 41:10
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I know that even when times seem this grim, God is here with us, and is watching out for us if we just turn to him and exercise a little faith we will see countless blessing in return from him. He loves us, He knows and loves you personally, and I love each of you.

Con amor,
Elder Lott
