Okay, so this week we got to baptize a little girl named Ellie. She is an 11 year old angel! Her dad and three sisters have not attended church much since their wife/mother passed away. We called them to check up on them and Ellie wanted to take the lessons. She has tons of faith. We were able to teach her the first couple over the phone and then were able to meet with them! She loves video games. Fortnite, call of duty, and Apex legends are all her favorites and she's pretty good! Me and her were able to talk a lot about that and develop a little bit of a bond! She the best! We taught her all the lessons and invited her to be baptized and she was so excited and thrilled.
The baptism was great. Due to quarantine only her father, her sisters, and her soon to be step mom were there along with the bishop and the primary president. The service was Great. Elder Larson baptized her and I was able to confirm her a member and give her the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was amazing! The spirit was so strong and her step mom was crying as well as one of her sisters. Her father said they all felt the spirit very strongly. Hopefully we'll be able to continue teaching them a little bit because of it, but it was great!!!
